Rearranged Merseyside Derby: Everton vs Liverpool rescheduled for February 12 following Goodison Park fixture postponement due to weather

The upcoming game, initially planned for December 7, will mark the last Merseyside derby held at Goodison Park before Everton relocates to their brand new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium next year.

The new date will rely on Arne Slot's side finishing in the top eight of the Champions League - Liverpool are currently top of the new 36-club table.

This would guarantee them a place in the round of 16, meaning they bypass the knockout rounds set to be played on February 11/12 and February 18/19.
